It passed ! But only just....

Ive got to change a N/S ball joint

a front outer cv boot

anti roll bar drop link

And one of the rear wheels is badly out of shape which is a shame as im told they are difficult to find.

Been out in it for a couple hours to try it out and still impressed with how it goes

Thats a pretty mild set of advisories. Nothing difficult to fix there - except maybe that rim - suggest you get specialist advice on that one.
But there are plenty of nice wheel choices to tide you over in the search for those curious Nothelle items.

have a search here for avant specific offsets... i cannot remember all the details, but as a guideline stock S2 wheel is 7.5Jx16 on ET37 with a 5x112 hole pattern.

I was going to say the same thing, unless it's really fecked a good alloy repairer will be able to sort it for a lot less than a new rim. There's a good place in Tewksbury, can't rember the name but the guy sorted three of my BBS RS's for less than a ton and two were bad. Congratulations on the MOT pass, had my T4 van pass first time today, always nice.

Well i just bought a new set of RS4 replica wheels today,not the nicest looking wheels but were fairly cheap plus its horrible to drive with the bent wheels so just wanted a quick fix

Check the clearance between the front wheel while on full lock and the oil lines feeding the oil cooler on the drivers side, on mine with the rs4 reps it hit the oil lines.

Ive got a new camera as my phone is a bit rubbish so will get some fresh ones now its been washed,not that it looks much better !
