Well looks like I can keep my rods but need new pistons, more investigation needed

Yeah but i've only ever seen one other 100mm stroker, would need custom pistons and rods again ontop of $1700 for the crank it's a very expensive upgrade.

    maybe next year

100mm stroke are NOT for high rpm.... no chance... only for the torque in low rpm ( monster torque)
92,8 are for the high rpm if the oil feed lines er better (!!!!!)than org... 8500 and higher in tall deck block with dry sump... aiaiaiai!!
the s1 they have the limit too 9400 i think ive read some places... but they did have the short block( alu??) and only 85 stroke..) 2,1 liter i think too..

can someone remind me what is the verdict when using the 92.8 crank on the 2.2 engine block? Is it that you have to get custom pistons to be able to reduce the cylinder wear?

    started a topic 034 92.8 & 100mm crank

    034 92.8 & 100mm crank

    034 now have a 92.8 and 100mm crankshaft $1500

Finally, after years a new line of 5 Cyl 4340 billet and forged crankshafts are available for popular Audi and Volkswagen models. These precision made cranks are a reasonably priced alternative to the custom cranks on the market and far superior to the cast stock based units available.

Since the OEM 92.8mm crank went NLA recently, we've been pushing to build a quality billet stroker

Initial strokes available in 92.8mm and 100.0mm, they offer a wide range of options for the professional engine builder.

A full line of pistons and connecting rods are available, providing for engine configurations ranging from 2.2L to 2.8L.

    Features:

Generous radii ground on all rod and main journals.
    Billet 4340 construction
Nitrited for extremely hard surface finish on all bearing surfaces
Precision balanced for smooth high revving engines
Fits all inline 5 Cyl Audi and VW Petrol engines
    Rod journal size 47.758mm
92.8mm stroke for engine sizes up to 2.5l
100mm stroke for engine sizes up to 2.7l (note, we only recommend 100mm stroke in tall deck 236mm blocks)

Standard price is for 92.8mm crank, or choose 100mm option below
