How to transport an engine

Well this is the e-mail I sent to the seller:
'Hello,
I don't intend to leave negative feedback since the item was cheap (which should have been indicative of poor quality) and the delivery time/service was excellent, but I'm writing to let you know that the item was extremely poor quality.
- The instruction 'diagram' detailed using part numbers 16-20, but the part description listing stopped at 15.
- Of the 8 threaded castor bolt holes, 4 spun their threads with little more than hand-tight pressure.
- 2 of the small castor bolts sheared with very little pressure.
Due to the above the castors are not completely secured and I wouldn't be confident using the lift until the holes are re-tapped or the castor mounts welded to the frame.
As mentioned, I was pleased with the quality of service, but the quality of product would stop me buying from your store again.
Regards,
Scott.'
In fairness, he's come back and been great (offered replacement parts F.O.C.), but there's not much you can do about poor manufacturing and threaded bolt holes. Even if they're re-tapped I don't trust the metal enough, so shall arrange for the castor mounts to be welded to the frame.Comment

the long trim around the boot lock is pretty much standard in black. i think i've got a good one here put you should be able to find one closer to home.
tailgate trim in black could be more of a problem.
maybe best to get a set of four beige or grey tailgate trims, plastic prime first then satin black them. that should be a good match and the paint will stay on as they don't really suffer wear.
keep your black ones safe and you may match the damaged piece in the future.Comment

If its just the clip mounts on the top boot piece could they not either be glued or plastic welded back on?Comment
