Terrible experience with "audicabrioletparts" on ebay

I wanted to warn people about this company because I have been taken for a complete ride. About 4-5 months ago, I agreed to buy an S2 rolling shell from this company "audicabriloetparts" on ebay. I paid a deposit by Paypal. Time went by and I chased and chased but little to no response by email and never answers the phone. :corey:

The guy's name is Joseph but I am embarassed to say I don't have an address or many other details. In any case, he has basically stolen my money, provided no parts and will not return it.

Does anybody know of them?

More seriously do you have any more info on the seller? If they are in the UK and dealing with old audi parts i'm sure someone on here will know of them or have dealt with them in the past

He's a forum member called audipartz I know he used to have a lockup, his was a black s2 shell? the shells be seen by an aquaintance of mine a while ago.

I must admit the time i have had parts off him they took ages to turn up.

By the way you should claim the money back if you paid via paypal, open a dispute asap and get your money back

I think I recall looking at one of their auctions and it mentioning that there may be delays as they have family (parents IIRC) who are unwell.

Obviously this doesn't excuse complete lack of communication for 4-5 months.

By the time I realised I was being ripped off, it was too late to open a dispute. I think his stalling tactics are well rehearsed.

I should have known when I read this on his ad! Apparently, this is a very common line for a scamster.........

get another ebayer, to email him regarding a listing/cash on collection= address?

if you did get address it would get confrontational. just depends on how much money he owes you i guess.
