If you look through his older feedback the amount of negatives/neutrals on his various ebay names is quite astounding.

I've used this guy once before and also had problems. I asked for the green pipe for the vacuum operated manifold actuator on a 2.8 V6, I got a piece of tubing from the central locking system. I asked for the cover trim for the CD changer in the boot of a cabriolet, I got the surround for some head unit, no idea which one but it isn't even an Audi one! I asked for the warning triangle which fits on the inside of the boot lid on a cabriolet, I got a broken warning triangle (for a Porsche 924 IIRC).

No amount of attempted contact got me a reply, the guy is clearly a ****ing ****.

Paid, seller has got 258 odd stars positive feedback, some negatives dating back 12mths+ no postage/collection details, given, no replies to my emails, ive even said if you dont want to sell, refund me! yet has the cheek to leave me positive feedback saying, how quickly i paid, you do get em bunch of :corey:

The guy's name is Joseph but I am embarassed to say I don't have an address or many other details. In any case, he has basically stolen my money, provided no parts and will not return it.

              Does anybody know of them?
If it was a ebay deal and paid with paypal, you can get beck your money from paypal. You need to do a claim. It takes a little time, but is woth doing it. If you don't get money back fron there then you still can get them from you credit card company. https://www.paypal.com/helpcenter/ma...d%20Claim&m=BT

No deal was done in ebay so they don't want to know. He just abuses the ebay rules by "selling" a wheel nut or something but it is actually just marketing and advertising for all the stuff he sells outside of ebay. The more people who report his items as abusing ebay rules the better as something might be done.

Paypal was used but they only give you 45 days to claim. This guy is very skilled in delaying tactics and I bought it.

I now have a ton of info on this jerk from other forum members and other sources :mischeif:

His full name is Joseph Vickers, address has already been given. He has several ebay accounts with reasonable feedback numbers built up on each in case he gets banned on one of them. His Paypal dealings are are over the place using names such as "watchesofbath", "audipartz" etc with emails listed as:

                audicabrioparts@aol.com
                watchesofbathask@aol.com
                audipartz@aol.com
                hanningtoneng@aol.com

The whole Audi community are becoming aware of this now and I will now start on the watch industry to warn those as well.

Now I have his details, solicitor has been instructed.

Just to add to this. I was recently scammed out of over 800 GBP by J. Vickers aka audicabrioletparts. Anything I can do to help please do not hesitate to ask. I just want to help stop him from scamming others. I am in the US, otherwise if I was local I would have definitely approached him in person. I have reported him to Paypal, eBay international fraud, local authorities and Internet Crime. I have a long email train and everything seemed legit, but I was seriously scammed. I have his contact info that I got through eBay, if that helps. Without going into details I am have no protection through eBay/Paypal.

Won a few parts on eBay. Asked if I was looking for anything else. Ended up agreeing and paying for the following.

Refer to invoice 3378 as he said it.

                          AUDI S2 SPORTS STEERING WHEEL X1 - £60
AUDI COUPE SPORTS THREE SPOKE STEERING WHEEL X2 - £80
                          AUDI S2 WHITE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER X2 £160
                          AUDI S2 REAR REFLECTOR X2 £30
                          AUDI S2 PROJECTOR HEADLAMPS X2 (PAIR) - £180
                          AUDI S2 SET CLEAR INDICATORS X2 (2 PAIRS) - £40
                          AUDI S2 PAIR FRONT FOG-LAMPS X2 (PAIR) - £50
AUDI S2 DIMPLED LEATHER INTERIOR TRIM SET X1 - £35
                          AUDI S2 WALNUT INTERIOR TRIM SET X2 - £61
                          AUDI S2 SET WHITE VDO AUXILIARY GAUGES X2 (2 SETS) - £110
                          AUDI S2/COUPE SET OF FOUR MUD-FLAPS X2 (2 SETS) - £38
AUDI S2 FRONT LIGHTING LOOM X2 FOC.
AUDI S2/COUPE SEAT SIDE TRIM X1 FOC.

He got me legitimate shipping quotes and invoices. Had me pay for that via Paypal. Then said the rest needed to be paid via wire transfer or nochex. Since he already had my Shipping money (over 50 GBP) he hooked me in to paying for the rest. Stupid me, I know. But everything seemed legit. He provided pictures of the items above and only the items above. He had invoices, which seemed legitimate. To try and test him I said I had a friend in Wiltshire that would pay via Visa and he said that was fine. Then in the end he sent me a box full of junk, literally junk.

                          Khai

The paypal name I sent the money to was HanningtonEng@aol.com, but the name comes up as Mark Huber, so be careful of that name as well.

The person I dealt with was Mark Huber, once we agreed on prices he said he was handing me over to the owner and manager Jay Vickers.

A while ago yes but he didn't want the space anymore so no longer has it. He is nothing to do with me, never has been. I only got to know him thru ebay as I too purchased some bits off him for my red 20v q sport.
