As Darren says, ultimately it always best to try and resolve matters amicably. Personally, when it comes to my parents I have zero tolerence! However, I always research the issue beforehand so that I am well informed. Often presenting the facts in no uncertain terms is enough to solve many problems.
As an example they are often subjected to estate agents board been situated on their property. I rip them out and wait to catch the person who replaces it and quote the relevant section of the Town and Country Planning Act!
Suppose the issue is whether you are transgressing any law as opposed to what someones idea of what is right. If its not the former then no worries!

If there are no parking lines outside there house or yours just park one of your cars awkwardly outside yours and then move across to outside there house last you wash the other car - that will piss them off a little!!! and when they say shift ya car just tell them to jog on bitch!!!

Couple of things, if your car/s are not obstructing a drive or footpath, its fine, just a courtesy thing between neighbours (getting a cement truck down the street, or delivery).
If they are filming in public, and its not for commercial gain, that also, is fine.
If however, they film onto your property, and there are things there possesions, people, anything that you can take offence to, then there is issue. This is only applicable on your land, as if it was a car on the street it is in the public domain.
I would expect the police would use reasoned judgement first, before making everyones life difficult.
If they are a busybody, the plod will see that. Dont worry, heard a saying, "If you sit by the river long enough, you will see the body of your enemy floating by"

We have a neighbour opposite who has the biggest house and the widest driveway on the street. Have seen him twice go ape**it at people parking outside his property - literally jumping up and down and then photographing the " offending" vehicle. I then saw white lines on the road facing out into the road away from his house but in line with where the pavement starts to dip ( not in line with his gateway ). A few days later I actually saw him with an aerosol can respraying the lines ( is this not illegal ?). He now moves one of his cars twenty feet to park it outside his house ( and making access to our driveway interesting ) and then puts it back again when the school traffic has died off. He also has a very noisy ( and v.v shiny ! ) TVR which gets taken out for 5 minutes at a time, has the nuts revved off it and occasionaly gets taken ( presumably) as far as the nearest filling station. He also blows the leaves off his driveway...........shall I go on ?

Hate petty parking nazis. Sticking with the subject but not helping the original reqest... I used to live on a village street that was one lane wide, terraced houses down one side and unrestricted parking down the other, in other words, anyone could park there, first come first served. Oh the arguments I had with two couples who were neighbours to each other. One objected to anyone parking outside their house "we have policy of not parking outside other peoples houses"... which was ******** because at one point there were 5 cars in their household! And their neighbour. They had 2 cars, which were parked outside their house in spaces perpendicular to the road. When the husband went to work in the morning wife would come out at the same time and move her car so it was across both spaces, and there it would stay all day until he came home late that night. Nearly every night that was the last available space in the street. Thankfully we're now moving to a house in the village with a driveway

What I really wanted to do after we moved out was buy an older shitter, register in their name (so they're liable for road tax) and park it outside their house.
