Interesting thing about rear subframe mounts. When i looked for a 80 quattro for my b2coupe conversion to quattro i saw that non quattro 80 did not have the mounts at the rear for the subframe..

It was a b4,do not know year. Also a b3 did not have the mountings for subframe.I had to buy a b4 cq for all pieces(rear flor/inner arches with mountings, tunel, tranny etc)
        Curious...

Have a look at a thread by a forum member here 'Nimz' I think, he did a quattro conversion just with a little bit of welding for subframe mounts, seems like straightforward job Im looking into getting it done on my tdi saloon to make a competetion replica

pretty sure! there was a thread on audifans about all this, and it was discovered they were there. Its the same chassis, would cost audi more to not have them!

Coupes are different, they are basically B3 running gear, quattro and fwd totally different rear floorpan.

B4 saloon/estate should be easily quattroable based on Nitec/Audifans thread.
