242 mph last year and they are out again this year (now). Remember it *is* an emerald green UrS4 under skin.

There are several issues at play with this car on the salt flats. First is the tall gearing. Second are the tall tires that further add to the gearing issue and last but not least is the greasy traction from the salt flats themselves. Oh yeah, he just went 250.009.

He doesn't seem to max out the revs in every gear and its obviously got very long gearing. Hard to tell with the open landscape but to do 250mph its making a LOT of power!

Great to see that its passed the 250mph mark!

to put in into perspective:

my A4 theoretical top speed in 6th @7000rpm was 226mph, with 280?! bhp i could not pull more than 150ish in 6th but in 5th, on the rev limmiter was an indicated 160/165
