Perhaps we need an s2forum reunion meet

I've not seen Paul, Fatty or Dave (s2driver) round for a while. I think life takes over a bit... young kids and demanding work have kept me away from the forum of late and I know a few of the fella's on that list are in the same boat.

Like any hobby, sometimes the forum / car has to get parked for a while until life affords you a bit of spare time. And of course as the cars get older the appeal will be less, but the hard core fans will remain. I've got a (broken) C5 RS6 on the drive, but the RS2 has oodles more character and albeit SORN'd the car nor me are going anywhere

Dave's on his way back from helsinki (or was this morning when I was chatting with him)

Its life in general, most people have got a family/kids and are trying to find the balance with that.

Lack of works another thing, I know a few forum members are either out of work or struggling, myself included as there just does not seem to be anything coming up thats part of the reason why my project has not progressed in a while. I have been looking for a while for something after leaving my previous job but its finding something that ain't taking the piss thru either conditions or lack of pay.

Ross - let me know when your free and i'll pop down and we will get the alternator off the car and i'll find that place out that refurbs them and drop it off.

          I didn't know I was the 8th biggest bu115h1ttter on here!

Personally speaking I am not on here as much as before for two reasons:

A.) I have two kids now which as everyone knows follows the square law; 2 kids take 4 times as long to look after as 1!

B.) I changed jobs in April and can no longer post from work for fear of losing my job. (V. Strict) But in all honesty, I love my new job and genuinely would not have time post on here anyway.

In reality I only get on here about twice a week and then I only really look to see what is on the front page, so could well miss a lot....

          Cheers,

          Steve

I've just bought a house a few months ago and the S2 has gone so I come and have a mouch around now and again. I can't believe how many new people there is, like someone said earlier most of the problems you get with theses cars and all covered by old thread. I know what people mean by about help with answers on pleas for help, always get a reply in here that's why it's a great forum but like most places you get the people with blinkers on. Ha ha
Just some finishing touches to do now

Haha cheers rob. I spent all summer putting up ceilings, wiring, flooring, patch plastering and decorating so have only just got round to sorting the avant out. No need to buy a b5rs... Would like one though lol. Go buy some more dished wheels and give me an old set of yours lol
