Well they shut the tube on a weekends for it

          I can hear it now

"We're very sorry ladies and gentlemen but due to "planned engineering works" there will be no s2 service this weekend between "howmuchdosethatpartcost!" and "NLA parkway" passengers are advised to use replacement lesser vehicle services instead. s2forum would lie to apologise for any convenience caused.

Don't drive mine to work very often as it's a short journey and I tend to be covered in oil, dust or mud at the end of the day. Plus I don't take it out in rain if I can avoid it, sodding leaks! As a rule I use my (water tight) Corrado in the week and the S2 on weekends.

Because its still in bits in the garage undergoing "upgrades", otherwise it would still be my daily.

I dont miss having to have a sponge under the seat though

Your coupes seem to be more accustomed to the life of a fish tank

Is mine one of the only dry ones around here?

In a word, yes. I thought mine was only the second one in use that was water tight but recently I left it outside for 3 straight days in consistent heavy rain and when I opened the boot, there was a tiny bit of dampness. Not a lot but enough for me to no longer claim it is water tight. To compound my misery, I left the boot open in the garage to allow moisture to escape and came back 2 days later to find the battery flat. Evidently the boot light does not turn itself off like the door activated lights do. In my face!

When I had a coupe I took it to the car wash once. I was unaware that there were known issues with water tightness back then
