I can recall there's a magazine with a sports car of the year group test from about 1991 where Clarkson elects the S2 as his choice, seem to rember they used a Red car for the photo shoot.

I may be getting that muddled up in my head with the artical mentioned above though.

Nice find PeteRR - amazing spread of votes across the judges for the S2 in its 1991 state of play with Clarkson putting it first amongst a strange list of vehicles... Who'd have thunk it ?
