Worked for me John.
Maybe they are testing said government services on folk who live outside of the home counties first
Couldn't possibly get them to waste time with untested software.

I was joking of course, we've had a few big scams round here, a couple of years ago a group hacked the cctv in a chain of petrol stations and were able to read the numbers off peoples cards and watch them tap in their pins. I cover my big card number whenever the card is out of my pocket and sheild my pin carefully. I guess if I got cash out for fuel I would be using my card slightly less, I'd still have to use the hole in the wall to get the cash though..
So who's got a nice collection of tax discs then?Comment

I'm unable to tax my urquattro on line or by phone since the system came about, I now get a car not found error. So now I'm in wondering if it means my car won't show up on the camera system data base they use to catch tax dodgers. Dare I test the theory.Comment

Take it out now if you like or leave it in until it runs out your choice, I decided to put one in from August 1994 when the car was first registered

IF your car is registered to you via the yellow (trade slip) it will not allow you to tax online.
Neither will you have to declare it SORN, but you will have to park it off road, and display trade plates when you intend on using it, but has to be for motor trade purposes.

I've done the same to prove the car was reg'd in 1991 as so many people disbelieve its age and think the Reg Plate is a micky take.
Call me old fashioned but I like the look of the tax disc and it is staying with my car (mainly because I cannot be bothered to take the little holder thingy out and clean the inside of the screen)Comment
