I also really enjoyed tonight's episode. Great to see Chris Haris on the main show I really enjoy his reviews.

I too agree, tonight's episode was brilliant. I still don't get why they chose Chris Evans, the whole being sick and shouty thing just ruins it for me. Tonight he didn't really appear as much which I think is why the episode was better. I have to also say that I really enjoyed the Ken Block session around London. I'm sure all of us would love to have the opportunity to drive like that around London and as usual the whole cenotaph thing looks like it was massively blown out of all proportion. Glad we got to see what they 'really' did and I applaud them for a cracking bit of entertainment. If the rest of the shows are as good as that one then I'll keep watching. More Harris, more Sabine, more Rory Reid (never heard of him before the show but I like his style) and more of the real driving and they'll increase their viewing figures. Ah, one other thing I really like is the rally cross mini as the new star in a car format, they need to make it a bit quicker though!Old Stuff Reborn.Comment

One of the best episodes of topgear ever imho. Proper fast car reviews for true petrolheads R8Plus Fezza TDF... so glad it was not some silly challenge ****fest.Comment

Was better, CE's commentary on the fast lap was.... irritating. But as people have said, a LOT less of him, thankfully.
Hoonigan and Focus pieces were much, much better, but felt rather rushed -far too much time sat on a sofa talking to two blokes who barely knew what a steering wheel was -honestly seemed like 20 mins long, I skipped over it, not sure why they have so many comedians on TG, never needed them before.
And.... have the F12 tdf there, and the Focus RS, and not put it round the track.... errr, why not?
Matt was great, relaxed into his own style presenting, and managed to ignore/block out CE's influence on him nicely, and a GSOH
Especially impressed in Ken's trip round London in a Ford.
Monumentally better, long may it continue, with less and less of CE each week, at this rate he won't even be in it come the next series. (I would put a tenner on it happily, he will have a strop and be off).Comment

Yeah, much better, Evans is still a massive knob - what on earth is that business about rating the guest's first cars and best cars by the cheering of the audience?? I read an article on Yahoo that they're doing their best to edit out Evans' parts and increase Rory Reid's and Charis Harris's air time so we may well be seeing less of him
The Ken Block gymkhana style whizz around London was ace!

"Stepping down from Top Gear. Gave it my best shot but sometimes that's not enough. The team are beyond brilliant, I wish them all the best." - Chris Evans
Fantastic news! I suspect he didn't appreciate being sidelined, and maybe the torrent of abuse...RS2 - Project Mental Wheels

Oh, it gets worse.... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016...l-assault-pro/
Bad presenter, but I hope he comes through this either way (as in survives, not gets off if truly guilty).Comment

fair play, he tried, we didn't like and he went just after the 1st series ended. I think he struggled too much with it being scripted, I know he was engaged in that side too but even so, much better on radio these days

Yeah, I read something about that. I think accusations of sexual assault shouldn't be made public until the person is charged, as if it proves to be untrue it can still permanently stain your life.Oh, it gets worse.... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016...l-assault-pro/

As for the accusations of being a complete c*nt to everyone on any show he works on, being a control freak and whatnot, and shouting at the audience for not cheering enough, there are so many that it almost has to be true. Good riddance, stick to radio.RS2 - Project Mental Wheels
