Yep I was considering this but... No real way of forcing an 11 over as can't get a tap on the spanner

Remove the turbo, I can do this with normal spaners at a push, then hammer on an 11mm socket.

You can refit the adjacent nuts and tighten to take tension off the rounded nut.

                  Random suggestions;

get it red hot and let it cool
                  mole grips
                  Pad saw
                  Air chisel
                  hammer and chisel
                  dremmel and punch
                  af/whitworth/imperial spanner
weld on something you can grab and turn
file or grind flats on it
slitting disc if you remove stuff below

Burn it off with ox-acetelyne, if you angle the torch right you should be able to heat it up and blow the nut and stud off down the flange.

I take it a nut splitter will not fit?

If it's the middle stud on the bottom row, btdt on my old 3b.
Think I cut through it with a hacksaw blade (just the blade, no frame etc, no room for that) and yes it took an age as you are working blind with everything in situ, the nut wasn't even a hex anymore it was so rusty.
You only have to get through half of it then smack it with a cold chisel.

Its brutal, especially when you can only cut with about 1cm of the saw blade, feels like you are just scraping through it!

Well turbo off , bit better access to stud and nut but still couldn't shift with heat and punch / cold chisel !! So ended up cutting and butchering the nut off the stud but manifold off. Thank fook. Got set of new studs so gotta get others out next .

                            Nice one!

Use copper nuts when you put it back together.

Yep got some on the way...

Wonder if when I refit it's better to bolt turbo to manifold first then fit the lot to the head. ?

Certainly easier to attach the manifold to the head before you put the head back on the block.
