I think they replaced the Avante with the Vanquish/Egress?

It would need new bushes if I used it !!

The Avant is goin in tomorrow for the new water housing, got it really hot though so I'll have to see if I cooked anything
Lol yeh i was known for having excellent 2wd drive control but being rather aggresive on the track Noooooooo surely not?

Got that high because i used to match some of the 4wd drive car times on the same tracks, my secret? i used to run an 11 quad elec engine which was lunacy at the time .

Now days that spec is not that great but in the early 90's they were recommending 14 doubles and 13 double was considered quick for 2wd cars.

    Good luck with the Avant.

Not sure now, the best racing truck I've got is the Dyna Blaster, rare beast with adjustable clutch.

Not yet mate, should be goin in tomorrow for the water housing, I did manage to get it home without overheating it but it got so hot on the way there, I'm a bit worried about any other damage it may have caused. It seemed to run fine on the way back though so fingers crossed.

Choice of today is HPI savage, proven track record, and the kit is constantly updated with newer parts for better realibility.

£80 for an engine or car ? for a top of range nitro engine nowadays is more like 300 (inc clutch, mounts, carb etc..)

@mcandmar ; I see you've caught the bug now, hope you have lots of room in your garage
