Be careful, make sure you have the cash ready to buy a set after trying them.

And ready access for a car loan to buy a silver / green / black RS2. You could be smitten.

I think they are good value for a good one at the moment, they can only go up as there were / are not too many still around. Look at M3 E30 and the Lancia Integrale values, not to mention Porsche 964 ( Carrera 4 for me ).

I'd only like an RS2, as I'd want a cheap seized engine M3 to be able to make it RHD and put a 3.2L six cylinder engine with a super charger into it. The Integrale is also LHD and I'd be scared of the rust. But would still like a go in both, for a week.

And the 5x112 conversion is out - have you seen how much trouble I have had trying to get the Brocks to work? lol
Not worries re the Boleros, it was just that they can be relatively inexpensive and still oem, but agreed there are better / wider wheels.

LOL about the trouble you had getting the Brocks to fit, so I fully appreciate you won't be changing 5 x 112 anytime soon.

Part of the power mod is on 12v.org here: http://12v.org/audi/headworkshop/1.htm and also what was posted here about de-posting the MAF: http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showpos...57&postcount=1

Sell the TT and stop the financial haemorrhage, and start a bigger haemorrhage by fitting a I5 20vt and quattro to the Cabrio.

    Just kidding.

    Enjoy.

    Maybe a set of Boleros for the winter ? 4 x 108 or 5 x 112 - see below.

The 17" five spoke with be nice also.

But you'd have to decide to go to 5 x 112 which would mess up your existing wheels.

I see your point. But do take the opportunity to sit into / drive a Recaro B4 if you get the chance.

Just because one has gone down the wrong road, doesn't mean you shouldn't cut your losses and stop, and go down the correct road.

The only reason I say this, again no offence intended, is that I have a set of Golf Mk 2 Recaros in black leather / black alcantara in my manual seated ex-daily S2 Avant and I haven't yet worked out how to fit them in place of my electric, black leather / grey alcantara seats in my now preferred daily UrS6. I really miss sitting in the Recaros.

Sorry if I gave the wrong impression, it was the RS2 mesh grille I was 'fretting' about. On all of my S cars the first thing I do is take off the front and rear badges.

So I wasn't even thinking of the idea of an RS2 badge on the front.
