I see your point. But do take the opportunity to sit into / drive a Recaro B4 if you get the chance.

Just because one has gone down the wrong road, doesn't mean you shouldn't cut your losses and stop, and go down the correct road.

The only reason I say this, again no offence intended, is that I have a set of Golf Mk 2 Recaros in black leather / black alcantara in my manual seated ex-daily S2 Avant and I haven't yet worked out how to fit them in place of my electric, black leather / grey alcantara seats in my now preferred daily UrS6. I really miss sitting in the Recaros.

      Maybe a set of Boleros for the winter ? 4 x 108 or 5 x 112 - see below.

The 17" five spoke with be nice also.

But you'd have to decide to go to 5 x 112 which would mess up your existing wheels.

Sell the TT and stop the financial haemorrhage, and start a bigger haemorrhage by fitting a I5 20vt and quattro to the Cabrio.

        Just kidding.

        Enjoy.

argh... too many things to quote...

Part of the power mod is on 12v.org here: http://12v.org/audi/headworkshop/1.htm and also what was posted here about de-posting the MAF: http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showpos...57&postcount=1

Macspring, I sold my Boleros because i f**cking hated them, I really don't know why people rave about them so much, awful looking wheels, like fat OZ Superturismos with a much wannabe lip, its just not my cup of Mocha I am afraid. And the 5x112 conversion is out - have you seen how much trouble I have had trying to get the Brocks to work? lol

Its good we all have different tastes, cars are bring when they all look the same, this is how new trends form. As for the RS2 seats, anyone near Northampton taking me out in their RS2 so I can see? (I've always wanted to go out in one!)

Not worries re the Boleros, it was just that they can be relatively inexpensive and still oem, but agreed there are better / wider wheels.

LOL about the trouble you had getting the Brocks to fit, so I fully appreciate you won't be changing 5 x 112 anytime soon.

Be careful, make sure you have the cash ready to buy a set after trying them.

And ready access for a car loan to buy a silver / green / black RS2. You could be smitten.

I think they are good value for a good one at the moment, they can only go up as there were / are not too many still around. Look at M3 E30 and the Lancia Integrale values, not to mention Porsche 964 ( Carrera 4 for me ).

I'd only like an RS2, as I'd want a cheap seized engine M3 to be able to make it RHD and put a 3.2L six cylinder engine with a super charger into it. The Integrale is also LHD and I'd be scared of the rust. But would still like a go in both, for a week.

Mac, your performance tonight is of the turbo charged variety. What you on!? Guinness or something stronger.

                          Keep up the nonsense!

Mate, it's not gonna piss me off, but what it will do is make me wonder if I can get them scanned and 3D printed... :-)

Might have to take you up on that, but I'll see what I can find before, I don't have a 3D printer or scanner, but it's an idea in formation, I'm can get a right side one from TPS for £60 but no left one, I didn't go for it because it's all or nothing...
