It is mate. Solid underneath. Worst of the rust is in the boot lid. Goes well too

Looks nice indeed. One thing about the rusty boot lid though, it should be made of plastic on a quattro

All Cq's were metal boot lids, only the later UR quattros had plastic/fibreglass ones.

You're both wrong unless it's a UK thing? Both my coupe quattro's had the plastic boot lid.

My 84 Ur had metal, my mate's 85 Ur had plastic.

Looks very nice clean this type85 vw had one about 6 years ago with a custom Exaust system and it sounded so well compared to my old ur wr 10v turbo,I had metal boot lids on both cars
