Obviously these cars will gain value, but the rate they're climbing at the moment is wildly disproportionate. Also all your value comparisons are Porsches (I'm including the RS2 there) or actual rally machines, not second cousins of a once world beating car.

Trouble is , when you say crash its hardly that....
Houses go up 60/70%, even double - then because they go down by a quarter its seen as a crash. Rinse and repeat.

Any buyer with half an ounce of savvy will see through that bull, and anyone stupid enough to fall for it deserves everything they get. So who cares.

It's not hatred, just observations being made about an appalling way to sell a car. Pictures are not great if you want top money and on principle, anyone using upper case in an ebay ad should be shot with a high calibre rifle
