well Paul,actually something came up and i will have to catch the second group buy for both coolant and turbo hoses.It seems that gathering up money is going to be slow this time of year,so i guess by the next buy i will be fine.Only thing i need to make sure is that you will be able to provide LHD turbo + water hoses then too.

Latest update is that Samco have promised me TWO samples of the hose I had missed by end of this week - the one connecting bottom of expansion tank to bottom of radiator.
I've used the ABY hose as the sample and have a high degree of confidence that it will fit perfectly on RHD and LHD 3B engines. I've compared both hoses side by side. The ABY item has a little extra length at the radiator end... so it should be a generic fit - just fine.
The 1st sample is for fitment on my car. The 2nd one is for anyone with an LHD 3B that wants to be the test fitting guinea-pig.
On validation of the fitment, I can start accepting payment for orders on the coolant hose kits. I have a list of all the previous interested parties - who I shall be PM'ing over the next week or two to confirm interest.
If anybody wants to prepay for their coolant kit NOW to secure your name in the 1st batch then please go ahead and PM me with your payment preference.
Latest on this is that PMs have been sent to everyone on my list that has expressed an interest in the water hoses from Samco. Test fitting has all gone fine as described elsewhere though I've yet to get a LHD 3B guinea-pig just to 100% confirm one thing.
I want to limit the 1st batch to about 10-12 people given the time pressures. I have already received confirmation from 8 folk that they wish to be in batch #1 and that money is in motion.
There are nearly 40 names on the list so I'll probably break up the orders into batches of 10-12 sets as they come in.
Spaces for batch #1 are now limited to another four people (MAXIMUM) that can get funds to me by no later than Jan 11th. This batch should arrive with me w/c Feb 13th in time for the garage meet at Greg's.
Some people have asked about prices to include clips from Samco - I'm chasing them for that. I shall also post all the clip sizes needed if you wish to buy your own in advance.

I will deliberately pass on the 1st batch (unless you get really desperate to make up numbers for it - PM me if that's the case). Since the car was serviced / MOT'd etc recently there's no current plans (touch wood!) to head for a garage, so I'm in no rush for these hoses.
Will keep an eye out for 2nd or 3rd batch - and would also be interested in knowing what the costs for the clips are

Right people I am ordering the 1st batch of ten water hose kits today - for those who have sent payment up until now. A mixture of 3B, ABY and RS2 owners... I don't have the list of names in front of me but yuo know who you are.
I shall advise lead-time as soon as I can, but I'm reasonably confident about them being ready in time for the garage meet.
There is one spare set in BLACK that I have included on this order so if anyone wants to claim it now, then its 1st come 1st served - send me a PM.

Order has been placed today for these. I'm being told 3-4 weeks lead time which looks good for the garage attendees.
