Can anyone else who received their rods please drop me a line, and confirm whether you have/have not got bolts? I knew it couldn't just be plain sailing for the last leg...
@BRY: Johnny_Boy is in need of his rods, so as soon as mine arrive (providing I have bolts) I'll get them shipped up to him.
Cheers

That came with the Rods??
Mine Came With Bolts but no Grease Moly!

ARP bolts were part of the deal, and Billman received them with his order... I reckon it's the dodgy packaging on Bry's sets - they're probably floating in some van somewhere. But that's not our problem. I'll be requesting more bolts first thing...
cheers

Yes they were loose Bry, if you go back to page 2 and look at billmans box, that’s what mine came like, same packaging etc. The cardboard box was wrapped in brown paper too so its unlikely you could poke a hole in it for the bolts to fall out. There all dripping in oil so my office stinks now

From ARP's web site:-
Installation and Other Factors
Appropriate preloads are specified for each ARP bolt. These preloads can be attained in a connecting rod by applying proper torque using a torque wrench or by measuring the amount of stretch in the bolt using a stretch gauge (it is known that a bolt stretches in proportion to the tension in it). The torque method is sometimes inaccurate because of the uncertainty in the coefficient of friction at the interface between the bolt and the rod. This inaccuracy can be minimized by using the lubricant supplied by ARP.
Other factors, equally as important as design, include material selection, verification testing, processing, and quality control. These aspects of bolt manufacturing are discussed elsewhere in this document.
The foregoing discussion concentrated on the design of bolts. The same considerations apply in the design of studs.
I would advise getting the correct lubricant from ARP, using oil ( any type of oil ) will not give the same results. It can't be that expensive as they were giving sachets of it away at the Autosport show recently.
