I recieved mine today, however it seems a bit greyish and not white? So maybe you send me an S2 one? Pretty sure I wrote RS2 one or maybe iam just blind?

Can you double check?

Hi Jonas,
I also have you down for an RS2 gauge and I posted yours as part of the RS2 batch (the stack of 10 gauges on the left in post 95 of this thread) so I would be pretty sure that it was an RS2 unit as I went through them all and cleaned out all the packing dust to know whether they were S2 or RS2.
Below is a side-by-side shot of an S2 and RS2 gauge. IMG_0635a.JPG
As you can see, there is not a lot of difference between them and the RS2 is not brilliant white, just whiter than the S2 unit.
Lemme know what you think as I will happily swap it for one of my remaining RS2 gauges, but I suspect when it arrives back it will be the same as the ones I have here.

as i havent fitted a boost gauge before... could some one tell me what's in the fitting kit and how it all goes together?
i know that ther is the U shaped bracket and the two nuts that hold it on, but how does the rest assemble together
cheers adam
Below is a picture of the components which come with the gauge. gauge parts.jpg
People have mounted them is different ways. It also depends on the thickness of your tubing as that effects whether you use the olive, the thin brass tube or both.
Basically, put the large nut over the tubing, then slide the olive over the tubing and insert the thin brass tube all the way into the tubing. Now slide the olive back over the tubing until it is about 5mm from the end. Insert into the gauge and tighten down the large nut. I used a thin smear of silicone sealer but it is not necessary as the seal between the brass tubing and the gauge is a machined fit.

Has anyone ended up with 2 sets of these `green condom kits` with their gauge as mine was missing
Hey Al, I have had a look and I cannot find a missing bag of bits here. I did not notice any missing when I opened the boxes to clean them out either and no one has been in that area of the warehouse so if I had dropped it it would be there.
I will email Gerd and tell him a set was missing and see if he has any spares.
Sorry matey - the only issue so far from 43 gauges sold.

Oh, and dont drill the hole in the nut out to accept a slightly bigger pipe like I did

Fitted mine today. Wonder what gauge Gerd uses for the conversion. I had the standard white faced PSI VDO gauge in previously, and had a brass nut on the end with a nice nipple (ohh err) on, that my tubing just pushed onto, held on with a nice stout cable tie.
New gauge has a completely different threaded brass end. The threads are way different.
Thought, will swap em over. No go and that brass stud coming out of the gauge is part of the internal workings, ie not removable.
No big deal, where there's a will, there's a way and I got around it, not by the way Si says above as my boost tubing was the wrong size
Also noticed that the bezel is different, not sure if Gerd replaces this with a new one?, as I can't see them being easy to remove. Originally they are brass.
I've removed that green condom thingy, thought it dulled the light output to much.
Al? you are welcome to it if you want it?
Piccy of what the **** I'm on about with my old VDO gauge and the nipply thingy.
Anyway, I'm a happy bunny now. Nice OEM looks, lights up perfectly in line with the rest of the interior and it's fun watching it wing round to 1.5 bar instead of old hat 22psi
ps, Si? your little item is repaired, just need to check it works. That means fighting with a large onlong thing behind a pyrotecnic charged round thing

Fitted mine today too (see the other thread). Not sure what it lights up like as it hasn't got dark yet. Everything is back together and looks great, pics to follow tomorrow.
Big shout out to Si for the GB and taking a hit to the pocket for all these, also thanks to Gerd for making them in the first place.
I am a happy chappy
