I know mark H has installed a special one, but most people have kept the stock ABY ones AFAIK.

right its crunch time now, I havent heard back from Jay or Raymor to say if they want one.

Please can give the garage a call and arrange how you want to pay. wether it be a cheque or a card.

      I have:

      Chris M
      Ben
      Lee

      all down for one.

Guys, your pumps are all packed and ready to go. My dad ordered 4 up so if there is anyone else who wants one please let me know asap.

As for payment the pump on its own is about £5 P&P Ben, so £145 for that all in and the kits are £210 each. I will get the fitting instructions sorted out once I get back from my course on thursday.

Please either email or fax your payment details, delivery address and wether you are having a kit or just the pump in bens case to info@billsmith.co.uk or fax it to 01939260804 and pm me once you've done this.

          ur quattro fit

Greg, interested in one of the uprated pumps. Would only need the pumps setup but unsure if this will suitable for the RR/3B setup. Any thoughts?

Would have to check if the basket and the other bits are right for the tank in your motor, would prefer to sell it as a full kit though since all the bits are there for it. See if you can find out how it is mounted in the tank and if it is the same as on the S2.

              pump

greg, the pump sits under the car below where the battery is. There is no cage at all hence the reason I ask about pump only availability.

              Cheer Kevin

I know this is somewhat late in the day, but if there's one (kit) going spare still, I could give it a good home...

Thought id better put a warning on here til things are sorted because there is a slight issue with fitting these pumps to avant's, lee had the first one for the avant and the banjo connection is different and it needs fitting lower.

I'm working with Lee on this one at the moment (he's not a happy bunny ). I think I've sorted the fuel pipe problem (will know when the parts come in next week hopefully).

Still looking into the fitting issue. Once I've got all the bits in I'm going to strip mine down to take a look. It's getting a bit cluttered under my desk with all the different fuel pump fixings that I've been accidentally ordering

Aside from Lee and myself are there any other Avant drivers who've bought these pumps?

I was a bit disappointed about running out of fuel on the way back from Scotland. The first hour wasn't so bad but it was a cold night and I was shivering with my jacket on. Luckily I joined the RAC recently but the 90+ minute wait was not good!

Looking forward to progress on this.

Tell you what, the pump in the Avant is a PITA to remove. The pump is not directly below the access hole. Take it out with the tank nearly empty Ben. I wonder if my rolling road run was affected by all those gloves that dissolved in the tank during the change!

There is a special tool for removing the avant pump (3307, picture attached). I've got one under my desk at work. I don't want to cause offence but I think the problem your having may be down the pump housing not fitting back correctly. It's not a job I would want to try without the tool for it.

Once I've got mine in and working properly I can send you the tool or we can get together and get it sorted.
