Greg: Are these pumps just plug and play ? Couse they have higher bar rating. Do you need to tune anything ? I'm talking about 5bar version.

Nope no need to, the kit thats been made up on the forum is only suitable for the coupe at the moment until a few issues are sorted for fitment in the avants but just fit it in and away you go.

Yep, bolted straight into ChrisM's Coupe last weekend. No problem.

What are the issues when trying to fit this to an Avant?
Can I borrow the tool from Lee when I get the other stuff from him?
Is my pump on it's way out when it sounds like someone is emptying the last dregs of the bath when I start up?

on the avant the banjo on it is different and it sound like the basket for it may be different also. ben and lee will have the lowdown on this one.

Looks like we are nearing enough for another group buy. I will have a word with my dad and check pricing again.

So at moment we need 5 pumps. Since most of you are only after the pumps this time I probably wont order all of the baskets etc that go with it. Although there may be one left from the last group buy.

lee managed to solve them but he seems to have disappeared lately. I think there were a few issues with getting access to fit it in there so I would need to check on that. I have had mine fitted in my coupe for quite a while now with no problems at all. (tempting fate I know). Not sure who else has been using them in the avants. I think lee's issues was that he didnt think it went deep enough into tank and that bottom 1/4 of tank not being used. However this may be down to how you mount it in the basket.

Hi folks, i have a question and SORRY but i cant read now all the pages for this info i want! So what is needed for this 044 pump to fit into my RS2 ? I have read somewhere that it doesnot go deep enough so the Reserve of the tank is smaller!

How much would the pump in this group buy cost?
