I think not. I have launched at least 100 times above 6k without any troubles (the weakes part is pressure bearing). I have Sachs performace pressure plate and regular disk. I haven't draged with any car that has beaten me for the first 10 meters. You can actually feel all 4 wheels grip after launching the clutch pedal - no slipping at all.

PS. I wouldn't suggest better clutch if you suffer for neck problems

David, the paddle clutch is just referring to the design of the friction plate. It has 6 paddles, sometimes called 'pucks' that act as the friction material. In the case of the EZ-Lock Pro it's six paddles constructed from a sintered copper alloy.

Tom, how long would it take to get these clutches if we get 10 people interested?
Im just wondering what to use if we cant get them in time for the garage meet.

Aelred Smith (ex dialynx) is sending a clutch to them to look at. It might take a few weeks before they are ready to be shipped. Im keepng my eye on this as my clutch is getting week.

On the looks of it, the Presicion Clutch cover plates have been removed from this idea, as they have proven to be very very hard to balance. So Aelred and I have decided that the best route is to buy one of Clutchnet's own cover plates. This way if there are any problems its only down on one manufacturer, and blame cannot be passed from either company.

This will be for 3B cars at the moment. They should be able to take about 600bhp and still be driveable on the road.
