            If a few parts sell ill be in on this group buy at 82.5mm bore for 86.4mm stroke & 20mm wrist pin. Working it out this should give me 8.65:1 compression is this right?

            Cheers

              Mahle has just informed us that the Mahle142 forging is no longer available in anything under 82mm due to the features needed for the rings.
              That means 82mm bore is now the minimum bore allowed:

              Compression Ratio is as follows:
              E (compression ratio) = (Vh + Vc) / Vc

              82.5mm Bore:
              = 461.86 + 60.49 / 60.49
              = 8.64 : 1 CR

                    I'd be interested in a set of 83mm AAN 86.4mm stroke pistons if these are still available.

                      If I add you to the list below , then I will move forward with the production run for the 86.4mm pistons.

                        Yea no problem. Would you choose these over Wiseco and JE? I was debating using Wiseco.
                        Also just let me know how and when to pay.

                          To put it nicely as i did in a PM.

                          Mahle = Rollys Royce
                          JE = Volkswagen
                          Wiseco = Seat

                          Tomorrow I am going to place the PO to get these going. The #7 and #8 set I will make in 82.5mm and 83mm bore respectively. Before the PO is sent , I will be asking for payment from everyone.
