Got mine today and it has a flaw in the same spot though nowhere nears as deep as the one in the photo above, I'll post a pic up in a bit. Though likewise the casting appears perfect everywhere else.

Nothing to worry about according to L&S, but if you want me to see if we can get them exchanged please pm.

Got mine yesterday afternoon , not the best packaged parcel I have ever received but happy all the same.

No imperfections or casting marks on mine, I guess its luck of the draw.

It doesn't look like the quality control is too good at L&S - if you remember, mine also had a casting imperfection (in my case, I could grind out the defect), I was in the first batch.

After you raising it with them, they did tell you they would be more careful with the controls...
