Doug, I tried them in a piece of original hose that I have, but taken from the end, not down by the "T".
Let me know how much smaller you think it should be and if the upper one could be smaller too, thia would make it simpler, just to make both of them smaller. I think Lee's looked like they fitted alright.
Do you want to send that one back so I can reduce it? Or I'll swap it at the next meet.
Ant I can do you a pair, PM me.
On a quick measurement I did at the weekend, it seems that 25mm diameter plugs will be fine. I verified this by using a dead TBV on both hoses and it was a good fit !
I know that the 1000HP supra guys have a MAF simulating-like devise. It simulates the MAF signal, so you can remove the MAF atach the simulator and bolt an airfilter straight on the turbo.
cheers

There is no MAF in that picture. You don't NEED a MAF if the system has been setup to take other inputs for mass flow data (pressure and temperature). If the engine has been set up properly in a dyno cell you can do away with the MAF. Does anyone know what EMS this engine is running? Dahlback claims over 900bhp in some states of trim but I am dubious. Either he can rev it to well over 9K, it last about 100 miles between rebuilds or he has NOS for short duration kicks!
Extra filters? Lets see, one nearest IM is likely for oil vapour management and the one near the main intake filter could be attached to the dump valve to prevent ingress during shifting. Could be wrong on the latter but I have been scratching my head to think what else it could be.

Solid lifters..mmmmmm. I keep saying that this is the only way to go with these heads to extract good power from these engines. Do it right and high revs (=high power)become an option. At the end of the day this is a 2.2 litre kicking out a claimed 900bhp!!! Respectable in anyones books for a road legal car.

For that HP, speed-density would make sense. I wonder too what he is running. Motec? I heard that Mathias - the guy with the green 800 HP car - is running Autronic.
Speaking of redlines, is anybody on this list running more than stock redline? 8000 maybe?
