    Let the mods begin...

Well it didn't take long...car purchased mid-Jan, mods started 10th Feb...of course I caught the bug with the S4, so it was inevitable, but I don't think it would have been long in any event...

So the first official mod, if you exclude the RS2 cambelt and water pump, was the Whiteline RARB (thanks Corey )

Hey, that exhaust looks a bit ropey...

If you're fitting it yourself then Pete at Quattrocorner.com (co.uk?) is your man for the parts, cheapest by far. I got a local garage to fit it (with my help ). Ensured a perfect job.

I'm saving up for the DP and sports cat and at £695 it may take a while! Should free a couple of ponys and add to that I5 burble! Expensive but so impressed with the cat back system that I'm sold.

Full turbo back system from Pete will be IIR £1100!!! Worth the money if you're going for power and environmental protection / MOT friendliness!

              Just a work of warning:-

Received a PM from a chap who's Miltek's silencers had disintegrated and wasn't happy as they wouldn't honour the warranty. Chose to take my chances based on the good reviews I had read/heard and have been pleased so far (6 months). There are of course, 2 sides to every story I suppose.

You might want to remove your number plate details from the pics, what with all the identity theft etc. kicking around at the mo. Sort of a Forum mantra.

                      Looking pretty beefty though!

I'm not convinced personally, as hundreds of people see my number plate every day as I drive it down the road or park it up. However, I understand the paranoia and have now blanked out the number plate - doesn't look so German any more though...

Have to agree with you Clive, though I must admit I completely understand the concerns about identity theft. I recently read an article that showed just how small of a detail some scammers will pick up on, and how far they can get really. It's rather scarey and makes you want to hide every detail from anyone I just can't bring myself to deface the lovely pictures of my car though

In real life I'm going too fast for anyone to see me! (TOUCH WOOD!)

No probs, your car, your choice. Mines so rare (according to a recent poll) that I'm quite smug from an identity theft point of view!
