I am amazed there arn't criminal proceedings against him after seeing some of this stuff! Theres being careless with your money, and then with what you can see here down right theft!
I almost got f%$ked by Cory about 3 years ago but somehow made out on it.---The story goes like this......
I was in need of a RS2 intercooler, rs2 Crosspipe and THrottle cable for a LHD Coupe. I contacted Cory to see if he had any of these parts and he quickly responded he had everything but the cable but say he would order a new one from the dealership. He claimed the CP and IC were in "TOP NOTCH" condition from a RS2 Avant. The total with Parcel Force mail shipping was 400 GBP for everything. AT the time it was $800 exchange rate for these parts. A fairly good deal I thoought for RS2 parts in "top notch" condition delivered to my door here in the USA.
I quickly sent him the funds via Paypal and waited, and waited, and waited. A month went buy with no parts. So I email him and PMed him here on the Forum. He replied that days later that the THrottle Cable was backordered from Germany and would be in by the end of the week. A whole month and a week I thought???? For a cable??? Maybe.
Another 3 weeks later the package arrives. I see that it was shipped 3 days prior to delivery som he sat on my parts for another 2 weeks before he shipped.
Unwrapped the package and immediatly could see the IC and the CP were NOT RS2 parts and by far not in very good condition as I was told.
THe CM was a 3B pipe that was horribly modified to hold a ABY IC to it. The IC was a ABY unit with corroded fins, damage on the back side from contact with BOTH the a/c compressor wheel and the front harmonic wheel.
The throttle cable was brand new in the package with a factory parts wharehouse date of nearly 2 months ago!!!!! He had the damn cable months ago!!!!
Needless to say I was pissed off and pmed him immediately. He replied 2 days later saying his mate pulled and shipped the wrong parts and I could return them. I had those parts boxed up and at the post later that same day. He also requested that I put in the customs paperwork that it was a RETURN so no duties and taxes would have to be paid by him upon delivery. I did.
2 weeks later the postman had attempted to deliver at his shop 3 times but he was not there.
I pmed him and he replied that I did NOT put on the package that the package was a return and the postman was asking for 100gbp in taxes on the package!!! I told him I did and asked that he please refund my money since I was going buy new parts from Martyn at the VAG.
A few days later the money was REFUNDED to my paypal!!!! WITH an extra 75GBP to cover my return shipping costs!!!! I was shocked!
Now it gets weird.....
2 weeks later MY box that I sent him with the IC and CM arrived back on my doorstep!!!
The lables on the box said "return to sender" Other labels stated that the receiver would not pay VAT taxes upon 4 delivery attempts.
I emailed Cory to tell him th ebox was sent back but he NEVER replied.
I ended up selling the parts to some fellow here in the USA for $100
And I have little sympathy for Beth - in my dealings with the pair of them, including the acrimonious breakup, she was just as bad as him.
Couldn't agree with you more Phil....you are not telling me that she didn't know what was or has been going on over the last 3 or more years.
I pulled my UR out of :corey: place back in June this year......my quattie went to him in April 2006 for some 034 upgrades...which never happened....no surprises there then?
I drove my car over to Lincoln at the time and brought it back on a trailer minus a full SS Exhaust System, 986 Calipers, complete Fuel Pump Assembly.....oh...and I have found out recently that he had killed my perfectly good WR motor... probably on a track (I am having it re-built at the moment and the bottom end had gone plus the head gasket)
Did I mention that my 034 Parts had disappeared too not forgetting all the standard parts that I have had to buy to replace the missing stuff taken from the car........I reckon he owes be around £4K...probably more.....hindsight being a wonderful thing...I wish I had never bothered thinking about any upgrades with him now....but at least I got my UR back albeit in pieces.

my dad is in the same boat im afraid his ur quattro went into quattronics june 2006 and he had to tailer it away in june this year minus many parts, the most shocking being the porche brake upgrade that was fitted to his ur with no problems and then with in the space of 2 weeks the whole thing was removed and SOLD to another customer who had no idea that he was buying stolen property, he is currently working with the trading standards in nottingham who are also working with the police to bring a case against this ******* if anyone would like their details please pm me.

David, if i was living closer to you i'd have happily gave you a hand to help rebuild it, and im sure there will be a few offers of help for definate in your hour (or 3 years) of need!

Yes i remember that, 2005 wasn't it. I avoided talking to him, i just wanted to wrap a spanner round his ******* head tbh. I've never liked the muppet, ever since the days of the quattro owners club forum when he ripped off a few UR owners in New Zealand over some carbon radiator shrouds.
