Did an embarrasing fix this evening during some routine checks on the boost hoses.

It found that even before Prj mapped my car to the current K26/27 setup it has had a boost leak. The S shaped boost hose from intercooler-crossmember to intake tube was all wet and oily at the bottom, certainly at the back side where it was drippin wet. Installed a new heavy duty collar and reinstalled the hose.

Not a big boost leak obviously, but while Dmitri mapped it 1.5 year ago, we noticed it was boosting to 1.7, and then creeping a bit to reach the target 1.8 or 1.9 in higher gears.
Felt OK and went OK, but now it always is bang immediate max desired boost without the slight creeping. Even in 2nd gear the needle points super fast at a good 1.8bar.

It already felt great, but now it's even better
Should do a pressure check more often.

Don't think it really crept when we mapped it.
Rather it couldn't hold the boost up top, but was solved by adjusting spring.

I don't think it was leaking already when we mapped it because your AFR was bang on what it should be for the map I was using at the time.

Think it developed this a bit later... always good to know it's fixed though

It certainly crept that little bit when I drove back to Belgium with my friend. I remember because he was taking a picture of the 1.9bar boost on the gauge (that is on your site) and he always had to wait for a second after it initially went to 1.8 bar

It certainly won't have been a big leak, but I instantly noticed it yesterday evening. Good that it's fixed anyway yes

Since I've bought a 2nd hand performancebox I couldn't resist to go measure some times on a rainy sunday afternoon.

Had a popped throttle body hose in between so had to return back home for a bit, meaning I only did 5-6 pulls.

Anyway the results:

My last and best 100-150km/h: 3.5sec



Did only one 80-180 in the beginning, with a tiny bit slower 100-150 in it. No real quick shifting.



And wanted to know how fast the turbo kicked you from 70-100 on overtaking




Tried to do a horsepower mode test, but it kept reading 0 flywheel hp... do I need to decellerate for a longer time? With clutch pressed in?

Don't use the PB for the horsepower calculation. Its crap. I never use it.

If you try and do some runs on a level-ish road like 3d or 4th gear full pull, as well as if you tell me the weight of the car and the tyres you have ill plot a nice curve for you!

If you put in an SD card, go to menu/settings and choose to continuesly record. That means that it will record everything. Then I can pick up when he runs are done in the file. Everything is saved in the SD card
