    My Coupe 20v 7A Quattro

    Well, I think im going to write a little about my old quattro, an `89 Audi Coupe 2,3E 20V quattro with 170bhp/220nm.
    I had to sell my late A4 TSQ because I was going back to School. But I realized that it didn`t a took long time before I felt the need of a quattro again.
    The car was in preety good technical shape, but needed some TLC - asap!

    Its preety much standard, but got 40-60 Weitech-springs with koni-dampers, 034-motorsport ShortShift,, S2-stearingwheel, cleaned out the rear wiper, K/N-filter with heatshield and B4-front with RS2-replica bumper.

    I know there are many people that put an 2,2T in these cars, but since there are so few original left I`m intenting to keep the 7A-engine stock

    First thing on the to-do-list was to cleant it! It has stood stil the last years, so the filth where everywhere!

      It came with an black leather interior, but needed some matching doorsides.
      And since the coupe never came with beige doorsides with black leather, I had to made them my self

        A black shelf from an S2 was bought to match the interior.

        Since it got that awful wood-trim it needed to go!
        Black instruments, black aircontroll-trim and black ashtray.
        Also installed the Blaupunkt Bremen-player from the A4 and fixed the dashbord-trim in leather.

            The doorsides finaly finished with original black leather-trim

                      Very good car radio. Blaupunkt Bremen M75 or MP76? I use MP76. I like it!

                      How make down face of door to place speakers?

                        Yes, I love the Blaupunkt Bremen. Its a MP76
                        I`ve acctually had this player in three cars now.
                        The lower doorpockets are bought online and are made spesially for the Coupe, unfortunately they is a bit difficult to get hold of. Ebay is your friend

                          Suddently the winter was right around the corner and I needed to fit some doll 15" aloys with 195/65-15 snowtyres.
                          I tought the car became a little bit to low with these wheels so I got hold of a set of 225/45-17 Michelin snowtires and fitted them on the summer-alloys.
                          The black kamei-grill looked good on pictures, but in real life it was terrable, so it had to go Changed it with one I`ve got from an S2. I`m still wondering if i should paint the frame black

                            With the Blaupunkt-player installed, I needed som more sound.
                            Fittet some 4" sony`s in the dashboard and some MTX 5,25" speakers, crossovers and tweeters in the original places in the rear seats.

                              Then one day the car suddently desided to stop in rush-traffic Some fast trobleshooting later I changed the fuelpump with a new Bosch-pump
                              Funny fact: The car had precisely rounded 220666 km...
