Looks cool
Difficult in the UK as we must have a fog light in the UK for the MOT.
Could you use the twin filament bulb like the brake/tail light so you can keep the fog light?

We also need the rear fog light functional on Norwegian "MOT". The trick is to just switch the bulbs back to 21W right before the MOT.
I don`t think you can use a 21/5W-bulb because it got different atatchment-points, but I recon you can rewire the lamps so you can use the orignal rearlight in the middel as a fog-light.- `95 Audi S2 B4 2,2T Avant

The brakedisk in front was out of balance, so I replaced these with som new Brembo-disks and Mintex-pads.
A delight to drive afterwords
As the handbrake has got stuck sometimes after use, I needed to take a look at this.
The problem was a stuck rusten glider, so I hammered it out, polished it and put on some grease. Me - Handbrake = 1-0
Did the same on every glider on the rear brakes.Last edited by AudiRS; 29 January 2014, 10:56.- `95 Audi S2 B4 2,2T Avant

Sorry about bringing taillights subject back but if i got it right you pulled out 5w bulbs and changed foglight 21w to 5w bulbs and there are no middle bulbs.
Btw when you changed the speedometer with s2 ones did you recalibrate the speed side, because original one has 260km/h top's so s2 ones should show ~10km/h lower speed?
Well the interior is done nice. Love it!1990 2.2 20VT Audi Coupe Quattro

I had a plan to use the sidemost blanks on the hatch as taillights along with the normal wing ones and just mod the rear fogs for extra set of brakelights. Ofcourse getting the lamp socket into them in the first place would be challenging.
Had a thought of doing that on my UrS6, but they would just look wrong because the inner side is tilted, would not have this kind of problem on S2 Avant/Limo though...
And to take this a bit further, why not use all 3 lamps per light as taillight, and keep foglight+normal brakelight for brakelights. Should be dead easy on Coupe. 5W/21W bulb and few diodes to keep foglight/brakelight/taillight functioning as normal.
Logic behind this for me is to get extra set of brakelights. The originals without 3rd light are hard to notice on a quick glance, but add in some low flying winter sun and bad weather - I dont want anyone to plough into me when they dismiss my brakelights as normal taillights.
Not the best picture in the world, but you get the idea:
On an unrelated note, the left numberplate light seems to be broken for nealry 6 months now (at least), and I noticed that only a week ago

Pulled out the 5W in the middle, changed the 21w rear fog light with 5W bulbs, and then wired the extra foglight (since it is only foglight on one side standard).Sorry about bringing taillights subject back but if i got it right you pulled out 5w bulbs and changed foglight 21w to 5w bulbs and there are no middle bulbs.

When i changed the speedometer, I did`nt have to calibrate it. I`ve checked with GPS and it is showing the correct speed ( -5 km/h compared to the GPS).
The fuelconsumption is also showing correct values.

thats perfect price. In my country it costs around 280 Euro. That sucks. And the changing gauges with board computer (autocheck) is very clean. I cant find in my country a good gauges with no "hobby make" harness. I dont work with harness,connectors,etc.. i cant :/ . I am glad, that u want to save a 7A engine

. I actually came up with this idea for my earlier B4 Sedan, the mod counts for the Avant too.
