Then something that never should have happen happend
My car was stolen from outside my house!
The car was found one week later abandoned at a parking in the city, after much searching and help from the police and friends.
The car was in preety bad optical shape, but started at once and seemed, in these conditions, in good shape.
All of the stereo was stolen, the new dashboard was destroyed, also was the ingnition-barrel and stearinglock-meachanism. Also some a lot of trim was missing.
In the rear seates there where some iron-poles wich looked like they where from an turnpike. In the back there where some windows, so the police thought the thieves had used the car too rob a cottage somewhere in the woods
The autocheck showed a avrage fuelconsumption at 3,5 liter! So now doubt the car was used well.....

Some time after, the insurance-company was done with the car I got the choice:

A new dashboard arived.
(Have done this job a couple of times now
)
Hooked also the car up with one of the biggest DEFA-alarms with glass-sensor, motion-sensor, sensors at all doors (4), ECU-cut and remote controlled sentral-locking.
Try stealing this 20v now thieves!
And new headunit, Blaupunkt Rome Europe Nav 56E.
Wired the MTX`s in the rear doors to the headunit and bought a new sub and amplifier.

With the newly painted parts I also needed to polish the rest of the car.
The roof was really bad occidated, so I had to use paint-renovater with machine 4 times before it was good again
The reslut was indeed satisfactional

You don't happen to have the 3 centre air vents from the old dashboard? I need a set of those..

Some new bushings in the front.
The mechanism to the air-vents did`nt work probably, so I changed the unit to a "facelift" one that worked

Got a hold of a complete harness, and are working on wiring this and mounting new window-mechanism with el. engines
