The slow buildup began, matching ETKA to car wherever possible even for bolts and rain strip rivets.



Retrimming and reglazing.



Trim slowly going back in.



Original interior refitted,

By November the face was back



And then the lining kit...



Something it has never had in our ownership and boy, don’t it make a difference?

Finally it came home on December 15th in late twilight. Went straight Into the rebuilt garage and the weather heaved down with rain for the next week.

Finally, after a week of seeing this,..


It came out into the Sunshine on the 20th.

The old girl finally got a proper run out on the 21st.

23 years after we bought her, it’s finally as we wanted and just in time for Christmas.

Hi John, I remember seeing you and yours at The Star meetings in the late 1990’s and the last time I saw it (or should I say heard it first) was when you were coming out of Worthing past the BP Garage on the A24 about 10 years ago. I was filling up our Ur Quattro as, unbelievably, you drove past in another Ur Quattro and a Treser car at that. Seeing the two together again some day would be fantastic.
