After a quick run with the current suspension setup i can say i am 75% happy. Steering feels a bit laggy and suspension is not that stiff and precise as expected. Maybe because i need to go for a new alignment, need new tires, shocks are on medium setup or maybe performance sway bars needed. All these are about to change soon. Hopefully will improve after. The drop with Eibach on is not that great either. I was expecting little lower. Some people say they will drop 10 mm more but in time. I will give a couple of months more and if not i will probably go for H&R 40 mm drop.

These days i did a VAG-COM test and here are the "surprises" received:

          Address 01: Engine Labels:
Control Module Part Number: Stg 1+ Rev 5
          Component and/or Version:
          Software Coding:
          Work Shop Code:
          VCID: EFE9578F855D
          4 Faults Found:

01262 - Solenoid Valve for Boost Pressure Control (N75)
31-10 - Open or Short to Ground - Intermittent
          00533 - Idle Speed Regulation
10-00 - Adaptation Limit Not Reached
          00523 - Intake Air Temp Sensor (G42)
          29-00 - Short to Ground
          00513 - Engine Speed Sensor (G28)
          03-00 - No Signal

Check engine light is ON. The N75 is brand new. Simptoms are the following: Idle speed is fine with very little fluctuations, around 1000rpm. When in 1st or 2nd speed driving below 2000rpm engine is not running smooth when pushing very little the accelerator. Same when removing the foot from pedal. Feels like harsh ride and bumpy. There is no elasticity at all. The other day i was driving in heavy traffic with outside temp. around 35 degrees Celsius and suddenly engine was about to die while i was doing a turn. Speed below 10km/h and clutch pressed. This happened one time and after that was fine.

All errors fixed and car is running fine for now. Got hot site turbo blanket heat shield and wrapped the downpipe with insulator tape as well. Engine bay temperature has decreased dramatically. Full boost is somewhere around 3900-4000rpm. The new shut off valve makes pretty loud noises similar with BOV. Need to go for a dyno test and remap for new hardware but time is as always against me. Soon i will have the entire exhaust system custom made with 3" turbo back. Saved few kilos with new exhaust system. The old original one was incredibly heavy. Waiting for new tires to arrive and put them on.

These days fitted a new exhaust system cat back. Got a great deal from a manufacturer in Germany that i couldn't refuse it. Sound is exactly what i want. Deep bassy and strong until 3500-3700 rpm. Total weight is 18kg. Not the lightest but compared with very heavy OE is a plus in terms of weight, look and of course sound.

Are those proximity warning sensors in the rear bumper? I did not realize that the C4 chassis ever got those.

                              PM sent.

Actually, C4 chassis does not come with rear parking sensors. That is how i bought this car and they are aftermarket product. Whoever put them on did a great job. They work flawless so far.
