Hi, just happened to come across them on ebay when doing a "BBS 5x112" search. Ive only ever seen one other set on a red avant that used to go about up here but Im assuming there the ones that now sjw185 has. Probably only two sets in the country and they happen to be within 10miles of each other lol.

You see a few Avantgardes around. They are in my opinion the best looking wheel that suits an S2 and your car is no exception. Looks great.

Thanks. I wasn't sure as the S8's do look great. Ive got a boost gauge to fit now and then clean and treat leather with this Gliptone stuff.
Slowly learning about the car not which is good, Im going to try and keep away from changing it to much as I do get carried away. Theres a guy local selling brand new H&R springs but Ive read they don't sit quite right on the coupe so not sure. I also want a cat back or possibly turbo back exhaust system then I think I will just use and enjoy.

I have H&R's on my Coupe along with new oem shocks the car sits luvly but bottoms out over uneven roads maybe a stiffer shock might help. I will be changing to Kw's when funds allow just spent £1,265 on my rear brake conversion so the wife has now put a chastity belt on my spending I do fancy a set of those Avantgarde's though your car looks luvly jubly with them on.

Yeah Im not keen on springs with std dampers so would be looking at shocks as well like Bilstein etc. I just don't want an uneven sitting car or one that is crashy. As standard its fine, just sits a bit to high.

Aye, suspension can be a bit of trial+error and folk have different preferences...

..if you don't take those H+R springs, I'd be interested (needing a set for my CQ 'project')

So a 8 weeks in and Im using it as much as I can around nursery/work runs etc. Had a family day out with two kids and dog in the back on Sunday and it coped fine. I managed to get some working clock with almost correct mileage for the car but I had to swap over the trip computer as it wasn't working on the new clocks.

That's all the little niggles fixed and cars working great. Its weird as sometimes I love driving about in it and sometimes Im not sure its the car for me. I'll think I'll stick it out for another couple of months then make a decision on keeping it or selling it as Id like to maybe go back to two cars again.

Right folks Im going to put this up for sale, not really taking to the car as I thought I would.
I'll try get an add up later. I have someone who Ive been talking to and has first refusal on it.

                      No way!
Was going to give you a shout when I was home but time just slipped away
Maybe you will still have it in a couple of weeks?

                      Cheers

All going to plan I probably wont. Im just not sure on it, theres nothing in particular Ive just got that feeling that its not really for me.

I may p/x with a sensible- ish car like a 5dr Golf Gti or Audi A4 estate but that's only if the interested party doesn't want it that I'll start thinking about that.

Car is in good condition, black wasn't my first choice but I really like it. Main thing for me was the recent respray.

Decent spec as well. Plan is to sort out a few little niggles but most of all I think clocks need to be replaced as there is intermittent faults and the odometer isn't working either. Maybe its due to lack of use but can someone maybe say what to check for to maybe rectify the odometer? Is there a link to gearbox?
Also what is the plastic pin on the furthest right on the dash for as it doesn't seem to sit right on mine i.e. to the right of the trip zero pin.

Also is the steering wheel an S2 late version as Ive never seen one?

I might try some other wheels, these look ace but I always try different wheels on my cars plus the front were rubbing slightly on the drive back on bumps. There is 20mm spacers all round but I might try 15mm on the front for now.

Overall very happy, sounds ace and feels totally different from the other Audi's Ive got. Ive always wanted a 5cyl turbo Audi so Im chuffed I now own one. Lets hope it relatively painless as I intend to keep it in good condition.

Some photos from advert as Ive not had a chance to get my own yet.

Hi mate what color did you use?

If you do get rid of your wheels I may be interested. I have BBS reps on mine that look awesome, but I keep considering going for a more oe look..

That is a lovely looking Coupe. Did it sell to anyone on here. Just seems to sit comfortably on its haunches without being anywhere close to OTT

I keep looking at my old Coupe on ebay and thinking where I could put it ha ha. I can't store the thing yet and its a bit pricey though. I know prices have gone a little bonkers but some asking prices are a bit silly IMO
