Indeed, Kit's car will deserve more credit as he's putting it all together through his own formidable engineering talent whilst I have to drive 150 miles to Northampton and throw money at Will, something that's gotten totally out of control. And even then I have Kit in my corner helping me out with stuff, so he deserves even more credit for not sabotaging my cars.

Glad you enjoyed driving my blue car the other day Kit, good to have it being driven. I'm not that keen on driving on the wrong side of the road despite 4 years driving in foreign countries, I guess all those years driving your LHD Corrados. /20160528_155733.jpg[/IMG]

Yeah I'm lucky that I've spent years driving LHD Corrado's so it doesn't take me long at all to settle into your RS2, and I'd go as far to say it handles better than a RHD drive car! Bloody loved every second of the trip and am very much looking forward to taking her on the ATIP Scotland weekend excursion next month where I can live in it as well as drive it. Though you can be road leader the whole time to prevent me from activating race mode:

It taken me years to acquire the confidence and knowledge I have regarding these awesome cars, however compared to an five year old 'S' car their a joy to work on, the original I5 is a work of art, sooo strong and easy enough to work on in comparison to the more modern stuff.


I'm trying to teach you stuff every-time we do a job, nothing beats learning hand on and you have the aptitude and enthusiasm to pick stuff up quickly. I'm, always happy to help you with your RS2's even if I get cross and swear at stuff.

Had a late one last night catching up with Ross, poor ****er has more surgery on the cards as well as duffing a wheel on his spaz chariot so he's in one of his typical positive moods so I did my best to cheer him up.

Was up until 8.30 am talking about everything under the sun, but mostly getting back on the decks and showing the kids these day's what proper mixing is all about. Going to take my 1200's around there next week so we can refresh our skills, we still have a load of classic tunes from the 1990's. Why we never perused it further at the time is beyond me, we listed to a live mix tape we did back in like the 97 and the mixing is virtually flawless. plus it consists of us doing three tunes each spontaneously back to back, progressing from hard house, trance, hard-trance, techno, gabber and drum and base all in the space of an hour which takes some pulling off!!!

Still it was good to get him talking about something positive as opposed to the normal doom and gloom.

Taking it easy today but will give you a shout in a bit, no problem borrowing my hot air gun, I'll bring it over later.
