    Hi Dean,

There is a thread as Eric who has a Nothelle conversion had his turbo reconned at AET and they provided all the turbo component numbers, (i can't find it though )

I have some good standard rods you can have £50 + P&P if you just want to put it back together. If not i would personally go for Pauter rods, never heard of anyone having problems.

yea thanks jamo i remember reading the thread once but could never find it again!i think in the reciepts for the conversion their is a breakdown with the spec of the turbo/manifold/mapping.Think im gonna just leave the rods/pistons/ standard, but is it possible to uprate the shells as these are the parts that have broken, and maybe will let me down again!are the rs2 shells any differents?

I fitted the RS2 shells I think - anyhow, I think it's only the RS2 shells they provide. I'm sure someone can provide the part numbers (theres 2 and you need 5 of each, about £80 for all 10).

RS2 and ABY are the same IIRC, should be in the pics i posted in your 400 project thread.

is that for the top end shells?Or for bottom end and the rs2 shells would be stronger than the standard shells?Just i think if i fitted bigger intercooler/injectors the car should be good for 380bhp'ish once its had a decent remapp(MRC!!!)

Sorry that's the bottom end shells, you're looking for the top end right? I always thought they were considered invincible...

yep its the top end shells which have gone!Guessing their not invinsible anymore. But if i replace them with rs2 shells these should be strong enough to take it to 400bhp?
