With a very heavy heart i have to break this coupe. Upon re installing the running gear after having everything powder coated and discovering all but two of the sub frame captive nut housings are held together by just the underseal. I had to draw a line under my time gone into this and what i would have in hand at the end of the day. Sadly being sat had not been kind to this car. Pictures will be uploaded next week.
The engine was rebuilt. And then it came to me and it was re done again as i was not happy with its history.
So there is:
Fully rebuilt 3B engine and turbo, rings and bearings, honed and faces skimmed. All parts bar the cylinder head have been soda blasted and washed. New gaskets every where, all ancillaries included. All new belts, one of my crank pulleys and a spec clutch which personally i would swap for a sachs. £3500
Freshly black powder coated hub carriers with M14 bolt holes. Brand new bearings pressed in, hubs have studs in, rear carriers have been modified to take a rear disc splash gaurd as the S2 coupe one is NLA SOLD
Brand new ABS sensors to match above hubs SOLD
