I have placed the order and have paid £48 per cable including a 2x2 adaptor cable and software on cd. I have 3x coming to me and I need one for one job I have coming up so in effect I have 2 available at the moment. So there will only be internal P&P / or collection from me in Sheffield. (pending the *unlikely* event of getting stopped in customs)

I have only ordered 3 as I really need to look at a car next week so didn't want additional cables hanging around incase you lot don't want them.

Hi Dean,

That's with a 2+2 cable included, internal royal mail shipping will only be about £3 or 4 (given the cost of a padded envelope, and recorded delivery)

I have been promised they'll be with me mid next week, so I should be getting these out for a weekend delivery.

I'll do it first come first served at the moment, as there have been a few people waiting, however, the delivery time is only a few days (3-4) so ordering more should not be a problem. (other than I can't order loads right now as I just don't have the funds in place to do that)

Cables have arrived and i'm currently testing them/more importantly, the software on a few different laptops/different configurations i've got access to.

It seems 64bit OS's are out of the window and windows 7 is being a bit funky... but i've solved/work around the little gremlin I found... sorry this is taking so long chaps, just don't want my phone ringing all day with "it's not working" (i'll try and get some documentation sorted too)

Yes it is bud.

The supplier I bought these from (who i've used in the past) changed the revision of the cable from 1.50 to 1.60 and it's causing me no end of hassle when using windows 7 & Vista, i've had to revive an old XP laptop to test/use them on. I'm currently looking in to what, if anything, I can do with them as they are unwilling to accept a return ;( (and I can't afford to loose £144) ...they do however! work beautifully on an XP based system.

What laptop do you use and would you be prepared to either use XP as an OS or dual boot? I have been trying to source some old P3 laptop's which I could bundle them with/offer as an option but these are a few and far between at the moment ;( (as an old p3 with xp on would be a perfect machine, not too much hassle if you drop it/get oil on it... etc)

Anyway.

The cables/software are operable under XP and i'm working hard to find a solution to using vista/7 if you could bear with me for another week or so.

I have spoken with another supplier who has assured me they can source 1.50 cables which work beautifully under vista/7 however I haven't been able to confirm not only are they any good (i.e. capable of long coding) and what the costs are.

I'd be using XP anyway so its no bother for me. Can use this to plug in to my Netbook then for scanning and logging whilst driving etc.
As long as it'll work fine with my car etc then it'll be fine
