Hi Do you have any cables left? I am using Xp anyway so no hassle for me. Am I looking at £52.00 including postage? WIll it work on 3b S2?

At the moment, it would make a little more sense for me to sort out the people who have access to XP laptop's so they are up and running, and once they have been sold I will be in a position to order cables I have been advised will work with vista/windows 7 - while it isn't an ideal situation it seems it would be easier for me and quicker for you...

- I can go with XP, but I'd prefer Windows Vista / 7 functionality. If the lead time is very long, then I may opt for the XP cable though. If you have any idea of time-line let me know and I'll decide.

I have found a supplier with cables that apparently work with all windows versions except 64bit. So windows vista and 7 32 bit compatible. Jonathan is going to try a version of the software he has for 64 bit systems with a cable once they arrive.
This isn't a hijack of Jonathan's group buy but rather we're working together.
When I know how many I need I'll get the order through and aim to have individual cables with you within 2 weeks. Price will be £40 or £42 with a 2+2 adapter. Will come with software of course.
So if anyone wants one can you PM me with how many you want please and if you need 2+2 adapters.

Should work on all VAG cars from early 90s but I know from experience that the 2.0 80 variants have always been hard to get readings from. Not sure about the B3 80 variants or even the 2.6 to be honest but all S2s inc 3Bs should be fine. And all cars after that with CANBUS interface will be fine. If I haven't tested the cables properly and anyone needs to return one because my information has been incorrect I will take it back no problem.

for info: go to start, then all programs, accessories folder, then system tools, then system information. Beside system type if it says X64-based PC then it's a 64 bit machine.

My Computer is showing System Type X86 Based PC. OS is Vista 6.0.6000 Build 6000.

If the cables / SW will work with this config I'm in.
