K26 turbo - 450+ HP - after full rebuild

First I was able to buy them for 40-50 e. The price Was 499 euro.

The dollar has gone up, euro is down to Polish Zloty.

Now for the rebuild, if I have turbo, I have to charge 600 euro + shipping.

850 euro is very high price I think.

Here they are going for 250€. I can try to get it cheaper.

this deal was good because I could buy turbos for 50-100 euro. I can get them for 250-400 now. They are the same quality as the ones before but people find out that they have value and raised up the prices.

Than I am wrong. My info was that .6 had 48 mm turbine out and .8 had 56 mm turbine out.

Than to correct my previous post. All second gen turbos have 56 mm turbine out found on Auid K26 hot side.

Hi Albert,

your Gen 2 K26 have an 6cm² housing with 55mm turbine out. Or did you machined it up to 8cm²?

Only Porsche 944S k26 Turbos have an 8cm² housing.

hammer sorry to find out you had to change turbine housing. It is impossible to buy one now without cracks All second gen have #8 turbine (55mm) housing installed

I have bought every single turbo I could find in Poland. Cleared the market

Now I will take only turbos shipped by customers. I have last one that I will be using in my own car.

I bought the First version of Alberts k26 for a friend. The .6 turbinehousing had many cracks but this wos no Problem because we installed a .8.
So last weekend i maped his car and i must it runs more then good. I program him 2.3 to 1.9 bar boost with just 910° after 3-5 gear full throttle [emoji15] . Full boost in 4 gear @3800.
I can drop the boost up to 2.5 bar but i dont think that the k26 will hold long time[emoji6] .
So its a very impressiv result! I think The car have about +480hp

Hi,

my car is now fully mapped with the K26 Gen2 from Albert. I've seen 1,75 bar @ 3800rpm in the 3 Gear. No surge etc. Audi Coupe 2.2l 10V Turbo, VEMS, Siemens Deka 630, E85, 3" Downpipe&Exhaust, OEM Exhaust Manifold.

My K26 is already running. Although only a few kilometers on low boost, but so far everything is fine.
