i've raised it until i get stiffer springs .it was bottoming out due to springs not being stiff enough.it drives a bit better now that its raised. because its still running in i'm not bothered .thanks jeffer have you decided what colour you're going to paint yours ?

sounds good go for black wheels with grey car .how does the carbon roof align up ?

Funny you ask, today I worked on the roof. Here are some pics. It needs some more TLC. But it's roughly there.... There are loads more detailed pictures on my site.

Yes " fairly" well
Altough these pictures are from today I need to refabricate the C-pillar of steel. Then I can weld the whole roof (A, B and C-pillars) to the car. On that, the kevlar roof needs to be mounted. In the raingutter it's just plain rivited. But at the far end I need to figure out how the roof needs to be fixated.....

Indeed a full welded cage (rally style). around 30 meters of chromoly steel tubing

full works to the turrets and all that?

yes, to all 4 uprignts. Also extra cross bracing on the floor. 5 point harness also mounted to the cage. the rear fire wall will also be deleted and replaced with aluminium sheeting.

good lad the noise level in my car is unbearable at times so is the heat off the rear mounted radiator fans and its not even mapped yet with it being stripped out you hear all types of noises fuel pump 'water pump'stones'fans'road surfaces ' air filter 'recirculating valves and i'm trying to figure out the other few at the moment
