Hi i have some questions about the scat rods i'm about to put in my engine.

What is the correct torque setting for these ones in NM ?

And witch way should the rods be mounted,
The grooves towards the intke side, or the exhaust side ?

The two dimples (dont know what they are called in english)


Will be mounting them tomorrow so a quick answer are appriciated.

Also i had only .004 axialclerence with the new main bearings, manual said .007mm to .023 it turns very easy.

HEHE yes my english is good sometimes but when it comes to translating car parts in a jiffy, I tend to Swenglish it .

Now the car is running again !!
This friday i mounted most of the engine parts.
And last night Me and Prosty put the engnie back in its place.

The Crank locking tool + extention pipe.


New steel headgasket


Finished head with new valve seals




Head on its right place

Full oilpressure on startup, a small oildrip from one if the turbo oil lines, replaced the gasket and it was gone. Bleeded the clutch and went for a test drive.

Yes it runs wery smooth, the engine sounds great!
Only running 0.5bar to run in the motor.

One thing i have to sort is a bit of drivetrain slack when i step of the throttle.
I alredy have new enginemounts snubmount (SPQ) stock gearbox and diff bushes.
New Centre prop bearing.

Im going to order the stiffer tranny and diff mounts from 034.
