Sure will try. but I don't have a DV camcorder, will borrow my friends camera for better resolution, the one in my cell is not that impressive.

Unfortunately Eriksson is such a "toffel" as we say in swedish, so he rather spends time with his GF other than helping me getting a decent in-car Video of my Avant.

So here it is. Filmed last night, 18 Degrees celsius.

Full interiour, full tank of gas. 1.4 bar boost, the turbo starts to surge after that, going to port the head this winter and hopefully be able to run 2.2 bar with racefuel and a low 11 second time on the dragstrip. Maybe I'll take the car to the dragstrip this weekend just to see what time I get. I've gotten a lot sharper in driving the car lately.
Pulling too long on 4'th gear as you can see, when I shift into 5'th the cars pulls harder the few first seconds. So the 100-200 km/h could be improved a lot. However it was pitch black and a lot of cars in the vincinity so I had to concentrate on that also

Though what is with the air filter in picture 2??
If it has crushed like that just from runing the car (and not deliberately so it fits in smaller space etc) it is restricting the cars breathing quite badly and needs to be changed for soemthing Bigger and better flowing

I've just mistreated the filter, the intake surface is still the same size so I don't think it will affect the car that much actually?

What turbine exducer diameter do you have?

Would a 13ccm housing stop the surging? At what RPM does it surge?

at about 4500-5000 rpm

I will port the head this winter, I'm pretty sure that will solve the issue.

If the induction of the turbo is causing this filter crush then it will be reducing the amount of potential air to reach the engine and causing inefficiencies in the system....

a better/bigger filter will make a difference Im sure.....

When I used a bigger filter I got too lean mixture, will fix that this winter with new map for the ported head. But I've straighten out the filter a bit today, and cleaned it

Yes I've seen that video. really fast. mine isn't 500 hp like I've stated earlier, now it's more like 400 + an avant. We found out that the head was the limit for this turbo, so after it's been ported this winter, then I can possibly get 500+

Hi. No unfortunately not. I'm hoping to get there in 2007. the car ran to bad this year. going to the track on saturday to try and getting a better time.
