I made it from bits off ebay. The display is just 5 volt meters mounted on a board in an alloy case. The egt amps are made by vems and live in the dsub 9 housings.

Fitted a set of 034motorsport high output coils to hopefully cure the missfires. Also got a five channel egt amp and display, which also outputs 0-5v for datalogging waiting to fit

Got a tfsi loom now, so going to take the plunge. Been offered about 20 OE coils Had a few probs with OE since going RS2 so time to move on.

It did a 10.9 with a 1.9 60 Ft at Kirkbride airfield which I was pleased with

I seem to have found the limit of the standard 20 year old s2 coils though, I was plagued with misfires all weekend and the engine just wouldn't take any nitrous. You can clearly hear them in the video without any gas.

Not that stiff for a race car. Can't remember which car, but it might have been the Clio Cup race, which run 1000lb front springs!
