I gave the rear exhaust mounts a small tweak to the right which moved the exhaust slightly to the left and now it's clear of the body and sitting in the centre of the hollow in the heat shield. Just need to take it for a spin and see if it's worked.
I got this gauge from Merlin and the proper sensor. I will use two other Audi 80 gauges I have that match.
I'm re doing the plate that holds the gauges. It was bugging me.

Yesterday she came out of winter hibernation. Started first turn of the key.
And this morning took her to a local Classic Car meet at Poppit sands near Cardigan. Well attended event but no old Audi's and only the odd car that was interesting.
She is running really well and sounds fantastic with the Milltek.

I've not done much on the Ur recently as I've been busy on the RS2.
Now, a while back I managed to find a spare Ur drivers seat with the right brown fabric. It's in poor condition generally but the brown fabric I need is good. I removed what I needed and ran it through the washing machine. Came out lovely. Yesterday, I dropped the seat off at my local seat upholstery guy and he is going to fit and repair the bolster.
Whilst the seat is out, I decided there was no better time to give the carpet a deep clean.
The water in the carpet cleaner was black!

The plastic runner guides were replaced and the adjustment bar re painted with a new bush. Plenty of rubber grease in the rails. The side panel was missing but I got a black replacement from a golf.
All good.

Looks great Dave, did the local seat guy just cut a piece of bolster material to suit from a block of material? My drivers seat bolster is shot to bits so I’m thinking a local guy here might come up trumps rather than trying to source an original bolster.

Yes, he repaired the foam by cutting out the rotten stuff and cut some new to fit the hole. He said the seat foam appears identical to mk1 golf seats and the foam for that is still available if yours is beyond repair.
