    Hi

It is a mass device so nothing has to be changed. I just moved it and thats it.
Just be aware of that there can be some difficulties with hoses blowing off the MAF. Not much to crimp on. 4 self tapping screws on each side will do it.
And I agree with U auditude. Maby some thing should have been made another way on the manifold. (sorry timucin)

I can check for pics, but not anytime soon!

Ken, I've seen that too at a couple of places one was here on Irry fitted to the blue RS2.

take out the clima and put it there or do it like golf4 from dalback. keep the 10 cm hose. dont takie it to the back. The second option is to take the filter to the empty space that is in the top of the front wheel. it wold involve outing out the metal but ...

            Timucin,

How about bringing the oil cooler to the front directly behind the bumper just below the towing eye and routing turbo intake somewhere there where the oil cooler was?

youre right...it was wildly unsucessful for the dahlback golf, or for the factory built sport quattro.

My airfilter is located infront of the wheel, inside, at the bottom of the bumper. I had to move the dryfilter (is called that?) for the AC system up as far as it was possible. The flexihose connecting the filter with the MAF is covering the oilcooler a bit, but that much that it has any impact on the oiltemp. The MAF is hanging down just next to the beam.

So clening the airfilter now requires the front bumper to be removed. Well another way would be to jack the car up and remove the cover under the engine

I reckon my airfilter is about the same size as yours Timucin.

                          Hi T.

This is how mine is placed.
But now the MAF is moved.

                              Timucin,

I'm sure I posted this pic before somewhere, I fitted mine down low behind the bumper last year, I am changing it now during the rebuild because the location is too low for the climate here (too many deep puddles) but it might suit you better in Turkey. I didnt have to move the air con either it all fitted.....just. It should be possible for you as I have the same limited clearance between the turbo and headlight that you do with my ex mainfold.
