now got 3 different TB`s. one ACE, and two 2.3 10v, one from a coupe, one from a 100 c4.

i hope to fix the coupe tb, as it is missing some parts

i will have something more than 1cm of space, 2 layers of heat wrap will be enough

        .

Try to find the top section of the heat sheild...no amount of exhaust wrap will stop you melting something...

        BTDT...on my 7A TPS...expensive mistake.

the driver side is bolt on. the passenger side blade need cutting (5cm), and a bit of work to put the plastic cap on the end on again (shaping metal). lets say 10 minutes of work for the passenger side blade.

                  What car are they off?

I agree with Carlos, i think you might need a proper heat sheild, but hope the wrap works anyway

Is it not possible to project the throttle body away from the exhaust manifold, by creating a substantial spacer, between the inlet manifold and TB

sure, but then the rubber tube from the ke-jet injection is useless. making a custom tube would be mind blowing...
